At first I hated to volunteer because the opportunities that I had weren't very many, and they weren't anything I was interested in....Once I hit high school though the options opened up for me, and now even more that I have a car and no one is forcing me to do it anymore, I love doing it. now I like volunteering because it is fulfilling for myself, and if I've had a bad day or week doing something for someone else makes me feel better.
